Needle is a small, metal thing. That thing has two ends, one of it is sharp but other end is round and it has hole for thread. The needles are of 2 types, one type of it we are used for sewing by hands and other of type is used for sewing in a sewing machine. In ancient times people made needles from bone of Mammoth and such needle was very thick, but now the needles are used in medicine because it very thin

A possible answer: A needle is small, thin and metal, with a very sharp, pointy end. At the other end is a thin hole through which we can insert a piece of thread. We use needles to join two parts when making clothes, for example, a button to a piece of cloth, or two pieces of cloth. To a native English speaker this may sound long and complicated, but if you don't know the word "needle", at least you have communicated what you want.
