It's somewhat comparable to a conversation with a Mexican, a Spaniard, and an Argentinian; except that in English, the differences tend to disappear more dramatically as you rise up the education ladder.

 

In educated speech, differences are minimal, mainly a matter of accent, typically the pronunciation of the vowels. There are some spelling differences, and differences in vocabulary choice as well.
