Children's day and the Doll's Festival Tomorrow, on 5th May is ''Children's Day(Kodomonohi)'' in Japan. This day is for wishing boys grow healthily. At Japanese home which have boys put up a carp streamer(koinobori in Japanese) on their garden or balcony. For girls, there is a day which is called ''Hinamatsuri(the Doll's Festival)'' on 3rd March. At home which have girls display ''Hina Dolls'' in their house. Are there any days like Children's Day and Hinamatsuri in your country?

For girls, there is a day which is called ''Hinamatsuri(the Doll's Festival)'' on 3rd March.
At home Families which have girls /daughters display ''Hina Dolls'' in their house.

In Singapore, we celebrate Children's Day for children 12 and below. It falls onthe first friday of October.

At Japanese families in homes which that have boys put up a carp streamer(koinobori in Japanese) on in their gardens or on their balconies.
For girls, there is a day which is[it sounds more natural if you omit "which is"] called ''Hinamatsuri(the Doll's Festival)'' on the 3rd of March. [you can also say, "on March 3rd"]
At home whichJapanese families in homes that have girls display ''Hina Dolls'' in their houses.

Are there any days like Children's Day and Hinamatsuri in your country?

 

If there are days like Children's Day or Hinamatsuri in America, I am not aware of them.
