My Way of St James Few people know that there's more than a way to Santiago. Everybody knows the french way. The "Camino de Santiago", as we call it, passes through my city. This way is called "Camino del norte" and there's another one very close to here wich is called "Camino primitivo". The "Primitive Way" crosses the mountains and is the hardest of them. Last year I went on foot to Santiago by this way and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I just wanted to demonstrate myself that I could do it and I went alone. I walked 250 kms for 11 days. There was rain, a merciless sun, blister in my feet, pain in my right knee... but there was amazing dawns too, dawns in which the clouds were like a sea under me. There was great people from many countries and was time to listen to their stories. I want to repeat someday.

I want to repeat it some day.

*more than one way / more than one route

*the French route

*beneath me

It sounds like a fascinating experience.

My Way of St James

Few people know that there's more than one way to Santiago. Everybody knows the French way.
The "Camino de Santiago", as we call it, passes through my city. This way is called "Camino del norte" and there's another one very close to here which is called "Camino primitivo". The "Primitive Way" crosses the mountains and is the hardest of them.
Last year I went on foot to Santiago by this way and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I just wanted to demonstrate to myself that I could do it and I went alone. I walked 250 kms in 11 days. There was rain, a merciless sun, blisters on my feet, pain in my right knee... but there were amazing dawns too, dawns in which the clouds were like a sea below/beneath me. There were great people from many countries and there was time to listen to their stories.
I want to repeat it someday.
