The Little Lizard. Please, help me to correct my mistakes, thx!

It’s spring now. The flowers are beautiful. Yesterday, I went to my garden to tend and to and watering the flowers. There are ("There are" is not wrong but "I have" is a nice phrase to put here) irises, tulips, lilacs, peonies and many others. When I finished my work, I sat down in front of my tool-shed. I relaxed and looked around. Suddenly I saw a little lizard, who was taking a sunbath on the stone next to me. His skin was glittering in a light brown color. His eyes were sparkling black. He looked at me and winked at me, and then he ran away. He is the guardian who guards my garden. :)
