Stuck in the book with Japanese Hello, I´ve been reading the きまぐれロボット　And I have some problems trying to understand some stuff. There´s a part when a scientist is looking for something, and they go down on the basement, and it says: なかはらんとしていて... I just don´t understand that line, I´ve been looking at internet, but I find nothing. Also, there´s a part when the robbery thief tell him: どうしても渡さない気なら、ただではすまないぞ　 I think I understand the どうしても渡さない気なら, but I don´t get what it means the rest。 If someone could please help me with it, I´ll be forever thankeful.
