A possible description for an ENVELOPE: An envelope is flat, rectangular and made of paper. Usually white, with a flap that has a sticky edge so that the envelope can be sealed once a letter has been put inside. This is to not only keep the contents together and protect them, but also to maintain our privacy by not allowing other people apart from the recipient to read the letter.
