This morning I met this guy called Tyler. He called me soon after I got up and turned on my Skype. He asked me to teach him Japanese. But, unfortunately, I'm not a good Japanese teacher who can't even explain the difference between particles such as ha and ga or whatever. This is my first time to use this notebook entry. I wonder if somebody will help me correct my sentences in a natural way. Thanks for reading :)

This morning

I met this guy called named Tyler. He called me soon after I got up and turned on my Skype. (You can actually rephrase this sentence many ways. For example, 'As soon as I turned on Skype, he called me straight away' or 'He called me as soon as I signed into Skype'. You don't necessarily even have to inform the reader/audience that you turned on Skype after you woke up.)

He asked me to teach him Japanese. But, unfortunately, I'm not a good Japanese teacher who can't even explain the difference between particles such as ha and ga or whatever. (Avoid using conjunctions at the beginning of a sentence. They're used to join clauses so be careful with that. When you're speaking, people don't notice but when it comes to writing, it would be deemed grammactically incorrect. An alternative word you can use is 'however'.)

This is my first time to use using this notebook entry function. I wonder if somebody will help me correct my sentences in a natural way. Thanks for reading :)
