Should Artists Always Be Given The Freedom To Express Their Ideas? I agree with that freedom is important to creative artists, while I also believe that they should not be given the freedom to express their ideas without any restrictions. It is true that creative artists’ freedom is crucial to the development of art and culture. If there are many restrictions, it would negatively affect he artists fulfill their potential in their works of art, such as musicals, sculptures and photographs, which means that they would not full of creation and will just repeat the work of art itself. Also, art, by definition, is one of the most diversified parts of any culture. In order to protect and promote the diversity of cultures, the government should respect the artists to express themselves freely. On the other hand, the rules set by the government are also necessary because some methods and forms that artists have are not widely accepted by the general public. What I mean is that some artists’ methods and forms should be limited to some extent, and it will protect the people who find these expressions are unacceptable and offensive. For example, there are film rating system in some countries which is used to protect people, especially younger students, by preventing the violent and sexual images from reaching the audience who may be negatively affected by them. In conclusion, the creative artists’ freedom should be respected, but the government also needs to set the rules that restrict their methods and forms of expression to some extent to ensure that such freedom does not pose a threat to social order and other citizens’ well-being.

Also, art, by definition, is one of the most diversified parts of any culture. In order to protect and promote the diversity of cultures, the government should allow the artists to express themselves freely.

On the other hand, the rules set by the government are also necessary because some methods and forms that artists have are not widely accepted by the general public. What I mean is that some artists’ methods and forms should be limited to some extent, and it will protect the people who find these expressions_unacceptable and offensive. For example, there is film rating system in some countries which is used to protect people, especially younger students, by preventing the violent and sexual images from reaching the audience who may be negatively affected by them.

If our expression can't be free then It wouldn't be creativity.
