I completely disagree with this statement. To prevent climate change we must take some measures. There are simple things we can do to help. For example, we can could change to energy saving light bulbs, turn off the tv and other electronic devices, and plant trees. These measures are simple and can help a lot if we all do them. We could also use bicycles instead of cars, or  and recycle. I think It’s the government should implement energy saving measures including new laws, such as putting the use of solar panels, tanks to collect rain water, use of and renewable energy, etc. and The world would be better.

Raquel, great entrie!  The use of "etc." can be confusing.  I usually don't use "etc." in the same sentence with "such as" or "for example". "Such as" and "for example" already implies that you are not talking about a <em>complete list</em>.

Also, the dfference between the words "could" and "can" might be unclear.  "could" usually referrs to the <em>possibity</em> someting will happen.  "can" referrs to the <em>definit</em> ability to do something.
