Chinese Name I received an email on Last week ,it call me “dear Wang Peng ”at beginning ,it ’s weird , because “Wang Peng”is not my first name. There is a big difference between Chinese name and English name ,it is the name order . In Chinese name , the first word is family name , the other words are first name . We put family name at the first so as to show the respect to forefathers . The most Chinese family names are only one word , but some special Chinese family names are two words . In China , name always represents the parent’s best wishes or hopes . My name is Wang Peng Fei（ in Chinese is 王鹏飞），the first word Wang is my family name , it means King .the second word Peng is an mythic bird who has huge body and strong wings , in mythic stories, it changed from a big fish and could fly to 100,000 miles with only one time waving . the third word Fei means fly .so my parents hope me having a free and successful life . There are a lot of interesting things between different cultures , therefore ,I want to make more friends and know more different cultures.
