Victory. Is it everywhere? 2015 year is the 70th anniversary after the Great Patriotic war ended. Russia is one of the winners. But what results have we got nowadays? I'd like to tell about things that are connected to the war only. Veterans are the most important of course. Today we have just about 2 millions veterans, who are alive. But are they happy? Yeah, the Victory parade was great, especially in Moscow. Every veteran had a honorable place there, special gifts and benefits. But unfortunately, all these activities were made only for that date. In my opinion one of reasons for doing them was boasting over other countries and especially over our adversary the USA. As I know the outgoings only for the Moscow parade were more than 28 billions. Hehe. So impressive sum. But there is one question for our president and others. Why do many of our veterans and their wifes live poorly in such a rich country? Is it normal when they can't buy good fish, meat, cheese, etc., while somebody even uses packages three or more times? What about usual drugs? If we don't do parades so magnificent, we might improve veterans' lives first of all, then maybe even our lives. Simple is beautiful. Never forget about it. Some time ago I learnt one fact, exactly that during past 50 years Germans became richer by 400%. Not bad. And it is  really despite the fact that once upon a time they've lost the war. What about us, Russians? About people whose relatives took part in the War and fought, suffered and were unsparingly killed there. About people who live in a country that situated on the almost whole continent, that has great resources on the territory, that should be really rich because of the largest area and not so big population.  Where are our money? Much of them are being invested in the army and the military equipment. Again? Sometimes I think about what would be if we hadn't won the war. Maybe we could became a German colony, maybe not. Maybe we would not have lost 27 million people. Maybe our territory wouldn't be so great, but we could live happier. No one knew and nobody will know it. As the saying goes: history doesn't know the subjunctive.

But unfortunately, all these activities were made only for that date. In my opinion, one of reasons for doing them was boasting over to other countries and especially to over our adversary, the USA. As far as I know the cost of just outgoings only for the Moscow parade were more than 28 billions. Hehe. So Such an impressive sum. But there is one question for our president and others. Why do many of our veterans and their wives live poorly in such a rich country? Is it normal that when they can't buy good fish, meat, cheese, etc., while somebody even uses packages three or more packages of them times? What about medicine usual drugs? If we don't do parades so have such magnificent parades, we might be able to improve veterans' lives first of all, then and maybe even our own lives. Simple is beautiful. I never forget about it.

I like that expression : 'history doesn't know the subjunctive'.
