Responsible use of the internet Internet is a worldwide network in which all the websites could not be under control, I mean, how those websites are used and for what purpose they serve. In this case, I want to speak about Youtube which is YouTube is a video sharing service that allows users to watch videos posted by other users and upload videos of their own. There are no limits in term of age to have an account on Youtube and to upload videos of any content, and this may be one of the reason of the need a responsible use of the internet. A problem that is often debated nowadays is that repercussion of teenagers using social media or, in this case, Youtube with any control of their parents. Let me exemplify this with an incident which happened only a few days ago. It is about a music fan club integrated by teenagers who upload videos related to these singers and comment about that. They began to threaten with mistreatment and abuse to a girl because she commented that she did not like this group of music. She was worried and afraid of going outside. Actually, these events, which are totally illegal, are happening all the time on Internet but the lack of a control mechanism will always end up in very bad results. In my opinion, Youtube has to change its policy privacy and to create a limit of age to use it or, at least, impose a regulation from adults to those minor children who do not have sufficient maturity of assuming consequences of their actions. I completely disagree with Kelly Mcbride who said that an uploaded video could have a good usage, for instance, to use it as a proof in a trial. It is a clear case of attacking the individual privacy. Parents should be aware of the negative effects of using those websites at an early age. So, I think it could be useful to promote a tendency to control their children, what they are uploading, what they are commenting and especially what they are watching.
