ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES ABOUT LOCAL FOOD

There are more and more followers of the local food movement. Currently many people are starting again to consume these products that will lead to everyones´ benefits, (producers, consumers and the environment) but there are reasons not to agree with them.

First of all, local producers will increase their sales because people will look for their products, this will help the local economy. If we only eat local food, we will reduce our consumption to seasonal vegetables and fruits and our children´s diet will be restricted.

Secondly, it is widely asumed that local food is healthier because large farms often use more chemicals than smaller farms. However local production is not enought for everyone in the area, besides there are several resarches done, which shows us the higher negative environmental effects in locally produced food and than transporting them.

To sum up, purchasing local products, apart from being healthier then those genetically modified or

packed, promotes healthier benefits to the local economy, even though being potentially harmful to environment.

Blue = my additions (idiomatic, related to certain phrases, etc.)

highlight = simple grammar (punctuation, articles, plural vs. singular, etc.)

strikethrough = my deletions

**Your English is pretty good!  There weren't too many basic grammar errors so I did a lot of edits on advanced grammar and style to make it flow more smoothly.  There are sooo many more grammar explanations for some of my corrections (but I didn't want it to look too messy) so let me know if you have any questions!

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES ABOUT OF LOCAL FOOD

There are more and more followers of the local food movement. Currently many people begin again are beginning to consume these products, which will lead to everyone's benefits (producers, consumers and environment), but there are reasons to don´t agree disagree with them.

[**I would rephrase this last sentence: "The local food trend has benefits for many, including farmers, consumers and the environment, but with these gains there are also drawbacks.]

First of all, local producers will increase their sales because people will be looking for their products: thus the local economy will be helped. By contrast [not quite idiomatically correct, try:] On the other hand, if we only eat local food, we will reduce limit our consume consumption [need the noun form] to only seasonal vegetables and fruits; as a result, our children´s diets will be restricted.

**I inserted the 'only' for stylistic emphasis

[Your paragraph relies a lot on the passive voice and complicated grammar!  I would rephrase the first sentence:  "When more people begin shopping locally and buying from local producers, they will help the local economy."]

In the second place Secondly, it is widely asumed that local food is healthier because large farmers often use more chemicals than smaller farmers do. However local production is not enough for everyone in the area. Besides [more appropriate wording] Additionally, there are several resarch which show us [is a lot of research that shows / are serveral studies that show] that there are higher greater negative environmental effects [side effects is the perfect word here!] of producing food locally than there are in transporting them.

To sum up [my argument], purchasing local products, apart from [in addition to] being healthier than those products genetically modified or packed, they put promotes benefits to local economy although being producing locally is potentially harmful to environment.

[I didn't quite get the meaning of your conclusion]

Overall, good job!! :)
