My home town is amazing!

The place where I live in is really special. I assure you that there is no other city like this in Brazil, it even doesn't seem a brazilian city! This place is kind of a european city in appearance, due to its climate features and its architecture style. It is interesting to make an overview and notice the Norman and swiss influence on the project designed for houses and buildings. It's really beautiful! Sometimes, when I hang around the city, I feel as if I were in some place in Europe, and I like it, indeed (more than if I have the sensation that I was in other brazilian city!).
About the characteristics that concern the climate and geography, the city is inserted in the Rain Forest context, but in a considerable altitude. There are high mountains and deep valleys, huge preserved green areas, a lot of streams and a very nice temperature average that goes through the year. It rains a lot in the summer time and it is very cold in the winter time. What about the autumn and the spring? These are unforgettable seasons that remind us of some place in Canada, during the similar periods.
So, this city is quite different compared with the other cities in Brazil, it is located in Sao Paulo State, next to Rio de Janeiro State, and the main economic source is the tourism. It is very small (about 60.000 people) safe and calm, and the city nearby are very far from here - as I said before, this city has nothing to do with the rest of Brazil, considering the famous fact (to the rest of the world) that the country is considered dangerous in almost all parts.
