Very Informal Personal Pronouns "Tao = I " and "Mày = You" . Vietnamese language has two very Informal personal pronouns which are "Tao = I " and "Mày = You" . "Tao" and "Mày" are used between two very close friends or between two people who dislike/ hate each other ( curses) Example : Two close friends met after long time. A: Lâu lắm rồi tao không thấy mày! = I have not seen you in a long time! B: Ừ, lâu lắm rồi! = Yeah, it has been long! A: Mày sao rồi? = How are you ? B: Tao khỏe. Cảm ơn. Còn mày thì sao ? = I am fine. Thanks. How about you? A: Tao khoẻ. Cảm ơn. = I am good. Thanks. B: Mày có rảnh rỗi không? Đi uống cà phê nhé! = Do you have free time ? Let go for coffee!
