Expiration date I can say I'm a bit strict with expiration dates. I hate it when I find products that are past expiration dates in a grocery store. Nowadays, that rarely happens, but there might be some stores still leaving over-dated items on the shelves, especially small stores in small towns. I usually go grocery shopping to a large discount store nearby, and whatever grocery I buy, I hold it up and check the expiration date before throwing it into my cart. I don't know why I've become this person. I guess it has to do with my IBS(Irritable Bowel Syndrome), which I've almost gotten over now. One of the few items whose expiration dates I don't care much is yogurt, because yogurt is basically fermented product.

Expiration date

I can say I'm a bit strict with expiration dates.

Possible changes:

I have to say that I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to expiration dates. I hate it when I find products that are past their expiration date in a grocery store. It's pretty much of a rarity these days, but there are still some stores that are leaving expired items on their shelves - especially small town grocers. I usually go grocery shopping in a big box store near my house, and whatever I buy, I check the expiration date before throwing it into my cart. I don't know why I've become this kind of person; maybe it's my IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) which is pretty much in remission now. One of the few things where I don't check the expiration date is yogurt as it's basically a fermented product.

Wow! I have so far to go in Korean!!! I'm impressed that you wrote this and still consider yourself a beginner - maybe I should knock my Korean language skills to zero :-P

Well done, I added a few things to make it more natural. And just because something is fermented doesn't mean it can't go bad - keep checking those date...especially on dairy products!!!

Large discount stores are usually called, "Big Box Stores" as they tend to be big, box shaped buildings that carry big boxes of stuff. Home Depot, Walmart, and Target are examples of big box stores in the US.

My family has had to bring back at least 2 moldy products to a local grocery store. You being cautious is a really smart move!
