The Missing Young Artist On the evening of April 6 1987, a thirteen year old teenager named David left his house to attend his painting classes. On his way there he had the intention of stopping by an art gallery, where one of his paintings was on exhibition. Despite being so young, he was a very talented artist and had a very promising career ahead of him. David never got to those places, he simply disappeared. At first it was thought that he could have been kidnapped, but no ransom was demanded. Also, the police thought of the possibility that David might have made the decision to get away from home, but his parents dismissed that idea. Apparently, he did not have any problems at home. As he had to take a bus to get to the place where he had his painting classes, the police interviewed each and everyone of the bus drivers on duty that evening, but none of them had seen David. What's more, that very same day the Queen of Spain was visiting that town and lots of people had gathered on the street to see her, but none of them claimed to have seen David. The police kept working, but each line of investigation would end up in a dead end. Some years later, the police tracked down a man who might have been involved in the case, but it turned out to be a false trail.

That is a perfect piece of prose Carlos. I only wish many native English speakers could write so fluently and with correct use of idiomatic expressions
