昨天晚上

昨天老婆工作到很晚，所以我和女儿一起吃了晚饭。

我们吃完后，看了一会儿中国电视节目。
我们看电视连续剧的时候， 我女儿说：“爸爸，我喜欢中国人！”。 （For most times, only Mid-aged people would call their parrents “爸” “妈”， young people like to say "爸爸" "妈妈", especially kids.）
我就问她：“为什么你这么说？”。
她回答：“很简单！因为你喜欢中文！”。

我笑了一下，然后对她说：“你说对了！”。

昨天晚上

昨天老婆在工作得很忙, 因此迟回, 所以我和我的 [understood]女儿一起吃晚饭。 [If you want more elegance, 父女两人吃晚饭]

我们吃完了，再看看中文国电视一下。到了 我们看着电视连续剧的时候， 我女儿就说的：“爸爸, 我喜欢中国人！”。
我就问她：“为什么你这样说的呢？”。 You need to master the final particles in colloquial speech, otherwise on paper, the tone of the father is one of admonishment for asking!
她回答：“很简单啊！因为你喜欢看中文片！”。

我微微一笑一下，[This is more literary.  This is for better writing.  A more colloquial version is also OK.  It just continues the whimsical tone of an essay between father and daugther, "我笑了一笑"] 再跟我对她说：“你说很对了！”。There are many ways to write this, 对了,  說得很对, 小儿真话, etc to convey different kinds of nuance and tone...  Anyway, a good piece of an essay.  Lighthearted, casual and something of your experience to share with us - the joys of fatherhood :)

昨天晚上(Lorsque on parle de la soireé, on préfère '晚上' que '晚', en plus, '晚' peut aussi exprimer 'tard', mais on utilise '昨晚' pour remplacer '昨天晚上'.)

昨天老婆在('在' exprime 'être en train de')工作到很迟晚('工作很迟' peut exprimer que votre femme travail de 13h à 20h, son travail commence tard, pas travailler tard)，所以我和我的女儿一起吃晚饭。

我们吃完了后('了' est 'fini', mais pour parler d'autre chose, on préfère une conjonction)，再又('再' exprime 'une autre fois', 'répéter', et '又' exprime 'en plus')看一会儿中国电视一下('一下' est 'un court instant' ou 'un peu', pourtant on préfère mettre '一会儿' entre le verbe et le nom)。
我们看着(Si vous utilisez '着', vous devez effacer '的时候' et  vice versa.)电视连续剧的时候， 我女儿说的：“爸，我喜欢中国人！”。
我就问她：“为什么你这样('这样' est 'comme ça')说的？”。
她回答：“简单！因为你喜欢中文！”。

我微笑一下，再我(Le sujet est pareil dans la deuxième phrase, et on peut l'omettre)对她说：“你很说得对了！('Tu as vraiment raison!')”。

C'est bien que votre fille aime les chinois :)

我微笑一下，再然后我对她说：“你说得很对了！”。
