Short Journal Entry of Today Spanish: He estado afuera de mi ciudad desede que lunes! Ya llegué a las uno en la tarde. Desde que llegué, he estado muy preocupado todo día! Le dije un amigo que estoy aprendiendo espanol y él me dijo "Diga algo en espanol!" Y le dijo "Odio cuando personas me pregunta decir algo en espanol!" Pero no me entiendó. English: I have been out of town since Monday! I just arrived at one in the afternoon. Since I arrived, I have been very busy all day! I told a friend that I am learning Spanish and he said "Say something in Spanish!" I told him "I hate when people ask me to say something in Spanish!" But he didn't understand me.

¡He estado fuera de mi ciudad desde el lunes! He llegado a la una del mediodía. ¡Desde que he llegado he estado muy ocupado todo día! Le he dicho a un amigo que estoy aprendiendo español y él me ha dichoDime algo en español!" Y yo le he comentado que  "Odio cuando la gente me pide que diga algo en español!" Pero no me ha entendido.

English:
I have been out of town since Monday! I just arrived at one in the afternoon. Since I arrived, I have been very busy all day! I told a friend that I am learning Spanish and he said "Say something in Spanish!" I told him "I hate when people ask me to say something in Spanish!" But he didn't understand me.

 

I corrected you to sound more natural in Spanish. In Spain when we talk about 1 pm we never say "the afternoon" In fact you can say it because it is the afternoon, but as we eat very late at midday, we use to say "la una del mediodía" as if it was midday...

 

You are writing about things that have happened today, so you have to use "pretérito perfecto de indicativo" "He llegado a la una del mediodía" Is it a very recent acction. 

 

I understand you mean "ocupado" not "preocupado"

He estado afuera (we use afuera when we mean outside of our house) de mi ciudad desede el (days of the week always heve articles, el or un)que lunes! Ya llegué Justo he llegado (in this case you cannot substitute just for just) a las unao de en la tarde. Desde que llegué, he estado muy preocupado todo el día! Le dije a un amigo que estoy aprendiendo espanol y él me dijo "Diga Dime (diga is for usted, in Spain we usually say tú with friends) algo en español!" Y le dijeo "Odio cuando algunas personas me piden que diga pregunta decir algo en español!" Pero no me entiendió.

English:
I have been out of town since Monday! I just arrived at one in the afternoon. Since I arrived, I have been very busy all day! I told a friend that I am learning Spanish and he said "Say something in Spanish!" I told him "I hate when people ask me to say something in Spanish!" But he didn't understand me.
