I tried hard to fix it up... which one is correct between below sentences? 1. I tried hard to fix it up to go back to where it used to be 2. I tried hard to fix it up to go back to the first condition in which it used to be 3. I tried hard to fix it up into the original (or first) condition please make those correct if they're wrong.

I think 3 is the best, but they are all a little unnatural. Here are some suggestions: I tried hard to restore it to its original condition. I tried hard to fix it up as good as new.
