art and culture camp Today at school, we held a art and culture camp for students who's mostly at fifth grade in Longxing primary school. We visited a tunnel called Liugui sixth tunnel, a tunnel built from Taiwan Japan-governed period. It was used to carry varied and valued woods down, then sell it to make money. They have totally six and a half tunnel to do that, but it's too long to finish, so we only visited the sixth. Now, there are only used to appeal tourists, it became a unique spot to visit. After that, we visited Forestry research institute, where we called as "trees hospital." The staff explain it's history and stuff, then took us to see those ancient equipment they store in the institute: a primary-student-talled saw, a car from Japan-governed period, a small house, which I forgot the story, but it looks pretty old and surely did something about wood... after that, these student have to according to those to come up with a story and make it a story book. we'll see how that goes tomorrow. =]
