Brazil, second part THE ECONOMY OF BRAZIL Brazil is rich very rich, therefore it´s the first coffee, soya, oranges and tobacco world producer. In its industry stands out the iron and tin minery. Brazil is full of rich and natural resources, energetic ones, agriculture and animal breeding which are the main ways of life. However, there are wide semiarid poor zones where immigrate population concentrate. In spite of the world crisis, Brazil has never increased its economy and constitutes the seventh world one. Sadly, this wealthy doesn´t reach everybody. It is the eighth country with bigger differences between the poor and the rich, but thanks to Lula Da Silva policy, the present president has cut that down to a 17%. A proof of that is the existence of plenty of built houses by the poor called “favelas”, just in River of Janeiro more than one million poor people live in there, the place that sheltered the World football champion. FESTIVALS AND FAITH IN BRAZIL Brazil is also a country with a deep catholic faith consequently the pope visited Brazil for the world family meeting, two years ago. On the other hand, the Sao Felix bishop is making a big work there, that´s the reason why he could tell us why people in those poor streets don´t feel any life worth. To live or to die has no importance for them. Brazil is the country with most prisoners in all American Latin. Furthermore, Brazil is also well known for its colourful and funny carnival. It´s one of the most visited touristic interests. It´s deal with four days of madness and joy. A festival to forget all our troubles.
