How to learn idioms? I am an advanced English student and I want to master the language, but I think idioms are the most difficult part of learning a language, I usually don`t understand them and I don´t memorize them even if I try too hard.

I'm sure everyone is different, but I have found that massive amounts of reading and watching contemporary media works best for acquiring idioms. Studying the idioms in a vacuum doesn't work particularly well for me, since there is really not enough context to go with them. On the other hand, watching movies and series and reading books where you are invested in understanding what's going on tend to be more memorable since they associate the entire situation with the idiom.
