While I think the phrase is perfectly grammatical, it seems a bit uncommon as a way to describe your ethnicities.
Alternatives are:
- ผมมีเชื้อสายไทยและฟิลิปปินส์ (I am of Thai and Filipino descent.)
- ผมเป็นลูกครึ่งไทย-ฟิลิปปินส์ (I am half Thai and Filpino. // If one of your parents is Thai and the other is Filipino, then <ลูกครึ่ง> is a very common description. It doesn't have any negative connotation that I know of.)

While given the right context <อยู่> is perfectly valid to talk about where you live, in this case <อาศัยอยู๋> would better clarify what you talk about.
Just a tip, if you are unsure whether your audience will recognise Hollywood as a neighbourhood, it's possible to say something like <เขตฮอลลีวูด> (Hollywood area). Not necessary, of course.
>ไปมหาวิทยาลัยของใต้แคลิฟอร์เนีย
We don't use the verb <to go> in this sense. The most common way to say this would be <เรียนจบจาก> (to graduate from), or simple <เรียนอยู่ที่> (to be studying at) if you are still there.
If you want to translate the USC name, it would be something like <มหาวิทยาลัยแคลิฟอร์เนียใต้>, although it's more likely transcribed like <มหาวิทยาลัยเซาเทิร์นแคลิฟอร์เนีย> or even simply retain the English form.
