Living in a big city

Living in the big city can somtimes be hard, this is something that I am experiencing. Currently, I’m living in this biggest city in my country. The population last year was about 10 million and the density, more or less, is 14000-18000 / km2. This is a very big number.

Do you ever wonder how it feels to live in that kind of city? Well, It’s a bit stressful. It is just like whenever you’re going out, there are people everywhere. What makes it worse is that people here are not very friendly. There are so many people here, but you just end up hanging out with one or two people from your office or your old friends. At times you may feel lonely.

In the future, I have a plan to move to another smaller city where I could call it home. But I need to work to get more experience first, so I wouldn’t move until at least next year.

What makes it worse is that people here are not really as friendly as a usual modern cities around the world. You just hang out with one or two people from your office or your old friends among that big number of whole population. You would feel kind of lonely.

I'm sorry you feel that way. The city is not for everyone. I hope that practicing your english takes your mind off those feelings :) You're doing well in that department
