What does this mean?
What does this mean, especially the word 堂?~"堂" in Chinese is also used as a unit, for example, we have two periods of English on Thursdays.
今天是堂很餓的課。 There is a period of Hungarian(匈牙利文) today. (~I guess.^^It's because you can't describe a lesson with the adjective, "hungry". Due to the homohpones, I tried to interpret the sentence like that.)
Thank you so much!

堂 means hall or big room in English. We have meeting or class in 堂。
But we use this word as a measure word. Students and teacher meet in 课堂, and after class, they leave each other. So it measures peroid.
I have two 堂 of class. 我有两堂课。
