Friday Today is a good day for me, because I just have to go to two labs "Food Technology" and "Biochemistry" I don't like biochemistry the teacher in each lab that we have a presentation always is answering about each word and concept, sometimes we don't know whatelse to say. Food Technology lab, is some difficult because our teacher give us cases or situations that we have to analyze, find the problems and give posible solutions, and in each lab we have different groups of work. Today I have a exam in the "Learning by doing" of Biological Monitoring, this week we studied how to analyze the water quality, using insects that live on the water. Also we saw birds in different ecosystems. The objective of this learning by doing is learn how to know the health of the ecosystem using bioindicators like insects, birds and mice. Our instructor taught us about sustainable agriculture as solution to produce food without affect much the environment. In worlwide we can find different human impacts, ismuch? yes. But we have to find a solution to establish a balance between the human population increase and food production. And is not sufficient just say : Stop pollution, Stop deforestation is better give options to improve this situation.

Friday

Today was a good day for me, because I just went to two labs called “Food Technology” and “Biochemistry”. I don’t like the biochemistry teacher because in each lab that we have a presentation, he (or she) is always answering about each word and concept (?), and sometimes we don’t know what else to say.

The Food Technology lab is a little difficult. Our teacher gives us cases or situations that we have to analyze, find the problems, and give possible solutions. In each lab we have different groups of work.

Today I have an exam in “Learning by Doing” in Biological Monitoring. This week we studied how to analyze water quality by studying insects that live in the water. We also looked at birds in different ecosystems. The objective of “Learning by Doing” is figuring out the health of the ecosystem by using bioindicators like insects, birds and mice.

Our instructor taught us about sustainable agriculture as a solution to produce food without affecting the environment. We look for different human impacts on the world. Is it a lot? Yes, but we have to find a solution to establish a balance between the human population increase and food production. It’s not enough just to say “Stop pollution, stop deforestation”, but we need to give specific options to improve this situation.
