My country is not aside of slang, you can hear people calling each other "marica" or "huevon" in between friends conversations, and as in other countries the slang words and their meanings can change from región to región, for example people from the south use the word "chucha" with someone who takes no risks and in the other side people from the north use it to mean vagina, I've noticed the most common slang words Colombians use is "Hijueputa", which literally means son of a bitch, and huevon which means being easy to manipulate. maybe the reason hijueputa is the most used slang word has to be with Colombia's and particularly the city of medellin title as the worlds biggest brodel. in the case of "huevon" maybe is a matter of family values and bad messages because children are raised to take advantage of others whenever is possible as long as they get what they want. Another common expression that is both confusing and funny is "joder" which i would say in Colombia is the only place where this common slang word used by latinos and spaniards as a mean to say fuck has no sexual connotation, so foreigners, hispanic and non hispanic, can get confused about its use and its conjugated forms like "joder" or "jodido". Words like parcero and marica are very common, and parcero which basically is a friendly way to call others instead of their names, is a favourite of colombian musician Juanes. Finally the most awful slang word I've listened in Colombia is "gonorrea", originally the name of an STD and which means person with a very low reputation.
