I hope you know that this is a vulgar and brutish expression and cannot be compared with

'what are you laughing about'.

Ya veo, entre cercanos, decimos なにがおかしいの？Pero en la forma formal, なにがおかしいのですか, mmm, me suena cómo alguien critica a otro depende de la situación.

Like what makes them laugh, what kind of things make them laugh. Can i use the phrase you gave me to ask people on what makes them laugh. Thankyou. Gracias.
