The level of pollution As the number of private cars has increased, so too has the level of pollution in many cities. To tackle this problem some countries and cities have given several solutions. For instance, in many countries in the middle of Europe they built a lot of bike lanes and people use it. Last week a student told me that in Holland they use cars once a week roughly. And people have better health because they ride near 12 km per day. That’s a good average, isn’t it? We can’t forget these countries are very flat and it’s easy riding. On the other hand, we can use electric cars. However, the biggest problem is that they are expensive, at least, in Spain. The government tries to finance these cars, nevertheless it’s not enough in contrast with normal cars and people don’t buy it. Also, it’s really difficult to find charge points for this kind of vehicles. And of course, they have additional problem: the battery. Electric cars have a short battery which is a big problem for long journeys. Finally, I’d like to mention the petrol industry. While they can found oil and extracts it, things will not change. Oil industry moves much money and creates many jobs. Too much interest would be at stake.

The level of pollution

As the number of private cars has increased, so too has the level of pollution in many cities. To tackle this problem some countries and cities have given come up with several solutions.

For instance, in many countries in the middle of Europe they built a lot of bike lanes and people use it them. Last week a student told me that in Holland they use cars roughly once a week roughly. And people have better health (<em>or</em> people are healthier) because they ride nearly 12 km per day. That’s a good average, isn’t it? We can’t forget that these countries are very flat and it’s easy riding.

On the other hand, we can use electric cars. However, the biggest problem is that they are expensive, at least, in Spain. The government tries to help finance these cars, nevertheless it’s not enough in contrast with (<em>or</em> not enough compared to) normal cars and people don’t buy it them. Also, it’s really difficult to find charge points for this these kinds of vehicles (<em>or</em> this kind of vehicle). And of course, they have an additional problem: the battery. Electric cars have a short battery life which is a big problem for long journeys.

Finally, I’d like to mention the petrol industry. While they can found As long as they are able to find oil and extracts it, things will not change. The oil industry moves much money and creates many jobs. Too much interest would be at stake.

Excellent work! My corrections are in red and my suggestions to sound more natural are in blue/grey

The middle of Europe is not easy to define. Central Europe is often considered to be to the east of Holland. Western Europe includes Spain, Portugal and others. So depending on what countries you want to include, there could be various ways to say "the middle of Europe".

"As long as they are able to..." sounds better than "while they can" when you are describing something with a consequence.
