Things I like about the U.S. (III): community college
Community College
Community College

Things I like about the U.S. (III): community college
Another thing I like about the U.S. is the community college.
It is the place where anyone can go to receive an affordable education.
In addition, you don't need to pass an entrance exam to attend!
There are lots of community colleges in the U.S.
Usually, you can find one conveniently located near where you live.
(There's one about 5 minutes away from where I live.)
Whether you just graduated from high school, work in a big corporation, or already retired, everyone can attend community college.
Whether you are interested in just taking a single class, can only take classes in the evening, want to pursue a degree, or transfer to a famous university later, they are all possible with community college.
It's another example of equal opportunity!
P.S. In Japan, do you also have something similar to the community college where no entrance exam is required and anyone can attend?
