Double check - vocabulary Hi guys! I am trying to put into practice some new words. Would you mind correcting it? Thanks in advance :) Scarcity: The scarcity of natural resources forces authorities to keep investing on the development of new technologies. Conceal: I still cannot believe she completely concealed this issue from us. Acute: He has a very acute opinion about politics. Boast: Everytime he sees me, he starts boasting about his team.

"...investing in the development of new technologies..", not "on". Also, I agree with Ruthi :-) We have acute situations, acute illnesses, acute shortages etc etc. He might have a keen political sense - suggests good understanding of the politics of a situation; or a sharp political mind - suggests intelligence and well thought out debating positions; or strong opinions - suggests he knows what he thinks and won't change his mind.

Correct except for the word "acute". It is mainly used to describe a bad situation which is extreme, like an illness He is suffering from acute appendicitis.
