Italian eating habits Dear friends, I write this letter to tell you what are the traditional meals in my country :) The main meals that we eat in Italy are three: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is usually something very light (in spite of nutritionists advice a rich breakfast ;D): we take a large cup of milk with biscuits or cereals, or a cup of coffee with a croissant! Most people eat fairly early at around 7 a.m. before they go to work. Sometimes I haven't any time to have breakfast so when I leave home I take with me a peach fruit or I stop by a bar to buy something! I can't start my day if I'm hungry! :P Lunch is for me the best meal! We eat at around 1 or 2 p.m and we start with pasta, a second dish that consist of meat, fish, milk products (e.g mozzarella - I love it! <3) or vegetables and some fruits. After lunch I feel really satisfied because it is the only moment in which I can eat pasta! Finally, most people have dinner at around 8 p.m. and eat only meat or fish with a side dish and fruits. During these meals we usually drink water or a couple of wine glasses. So that's all! I hope you'll enjoy with this note and excuse me for my mistakes! ^.^ Do drop me a line if you have time! Love, Anna

Not a bad job at all Anna, very nicely written with only a few minor mistakes! :) I really enjoyed learning about what people eat for meals in Italy and comparing it to the meals and meal times I am used to here in the US. If you would like help to improve your English, or if you have any questions, please let me know, I’d be happy to help you!
