Heat Wave Settles Over the Midwest June and July were very wet months for the Midwest. We received significant rainfall resulting in flood conditions on creeks, rivers and lakes. Typical of Missouri weather, it has now turned unbearably hot--with the heat index reaching over 100 each day. It's important for residents to stay hydrated and out of the heat and sun for long periods of time.
