The cross-stitch gift

Hello. I’ve already/previously mentioned a picture with Green’s theorem (which I've ) embroidered on it and I’m not quite sure that I’ve described it properly. So I’ve decided to show you it and at the same time say a few words about the type of needlework I meant. I suppose it is called cross-stitch or something like that. It’s rather popular in my country especially among the senior/older women but also some of my friends make do it in their spare time. Also I’ve tried it myself as you can see. There are a lot of cross-stitch kits in specific stores. The kit containsed fabric, instructions, a needle and a graph/a chart etc. In other words, everything you need to get make your own picture is in this kit and just a little (bit of your) time. Actually there was not the  Green’s theorem on the graph from my kit but it meant something for to me and my friend so I’ve embroidered it on my work. The complete works are usually quite beautiful so some people like to get a frame in from the framing workshop and put the picture on the wall. I’d got a frame to for this picture before I gave it to my friend. Maybe it’s on his wall now:-)
