Work in shorts I have never could to come at work in shorts. Really! Any job I had had a strong dress code: no shorts no singlets\vests (майка?). And it is terrible on summer. Just imagine: there is the hot July, cramped and suffocating trains/subway/buses, you need one and half hour to reach your workplace... And you wear trousers and shirt (thanks I may not wear a jacket or suit). I recented: why women may wear short skirts or light dresses on summer but men should boil their housekeepings in trousers and suits? I got a new job one month ago, now I am sqa specialist and I don't have any dress code requirements. I even don't have a fixed time of my work day. And you know I didn't become a dirty pig. I wash my head, iron my clothes, clean the shoes, use perfume as I did it before. I have the only one difference: I work in shorts. And that is really comfortable! And I will never go to work where I should wear trousers in the +30 heat. Why? Because I think that an employer should respect his employees first of all but not stupid habits which is reason of summer suffering. Thank you for attention!
