#13. Invent or describe a new food.

From my point of view inventing a new food is not as difficult as it seems. Actually I do it all the time. When you come home and need to prepare something to eat quickly, just open the fridge, take anything there is, cut it down and put in a frying pan, break some eggs in there, add a pinch of salt and spices... And voila! Your breakfast, dinner or supper is ready. Bon Appetit! Every such dish will be unique and sometimes even edible. The latter depends on your cooking skills and content of a your refrigerator.

I believe in the past it was a lot a easier to invent something really new. In early history of humanity every new species of plants, animals or mushrooms was a new "dish" for us. And vice versa, unskilled hunters may have become a meal for animals. Forests in those days were like large buffet (full of bears). You go went there and kill killed anything you want wanted to eat today.

Looks like I have somewhat deviate deviated from topic of this essay.

Excellent essay! I only noticed a few minor errors.

-At the end of the first paragraph, you are writing about the food from the reader's refrigerator. Therefore, you should use the word "your" instead of "a" to indicate that the food is specifically from the reader's fridge and nobody else's.

-At the end of the second paragraph, you wrote about what happened in the forests in the early days of humanity. Since that happened in the past, your sentences should be in the past tense. This is also true for when you wrote about deviating from the essay topic.
