Collaborative Group Study It is of course very nice to chat one-by-one together about some general topics but the fact is if we wish to REALLY learn any language effective, we must apply a systematic procedure. For that, I suppose the best way is to set up a study group of 3 – 5 individuals and we follow a project-based study plan. We could start with reading together text-books to both expand the capacity of our vocabulary and also employ correct grammar in the syntax of the sentences we use. My idea is that we stick to a project which we can call it “study-together” and for the start we follow any of the following sub-projects as a collaborative scheme: ******************************************************** ►Sub-project #1: Very-short stories (exactly 150 words). There are a number of free ESL short stories online if we Google it and each of us could find a story, read that, write a short summary about the topic and provide few keywords with it synonyms so that the rest of group members would learn by reviewing his/her write-up. ******************************************************** ►Sub-project #2: Short stories This could be any simplified short stories from Longman or Oxford or Cambridge publishing houses which is designed to give the reader a systematic way of learning vocabulary and grammar. Again, here each of us could choose a story and read and summarize it for the rest of group study-mates and give some good new vocabulary along with their definitions. ******************************************************** ►Sub-project #3: Long stories / novels Here on this sub-project we could read any single novel (modern/classic/historical, etc.) together in this way that all of us would read each chapter and we all prepare a short summary of that chapter and we exchange it among each other so that we both review our jobs and memorize new words and grammar much deeply. There is joy of collaborative study-group in this sub-project and it gives us a double energy by following up our stories and write-ups. ******************************************************** ►OPEN Sub-project #4: Any other new ideas? Well, here I think each of us can give other strategic way of learning; any new methods, any other alternatives that would help us with keep going while we enjoy “reading-together”…I think we could set up a 'Study Laboratory' by helping each other even here by using the free service provided...

Collaborative Group Study

It is of course very nice to chat one-to-one together about some general topics, but the fact is that if we wish to REALLY learn any language effectively, we must apply a systematic procedure. For that, I suppose the best way is to set up a study group of 3 – 5 individuals and we follow a project-based study plan. We could start with reading together text-books together to both expand the capacity of our vocabulary and also employ correct grammar in the syntax of the sentences we use.

My idea is that we stick to a project which we can call it “study-together” and for the start we follow any of the following sub-projects as a collaborative scheme:

********************************************************
►Sub-project #1:

[Very good. I changed the tenses a little. You could either stay in the present or the future. You could argue for either tense and be correct, I think.]

Hi Jinjoo! If this plan works, I have some very exciting other new ideas which would become very global... Just for now let's see if on our trial period as our Pilot run, how we all could cooperate with each other. If I tell you this idea now, it will not be a surprise...
