Be brave enough to change my environment

My previous work place was terrible, so I decided to quit and get a new job. I moved to a different place that is 30 minutes west from where I was.

"Change the job" is grammatically correct, but it sounds odd in English - that is why I changed it to "get a new job". Good luck with your new job! :-)
