THE SOLDIER AND THE TIN BOX 2 THE SOLDIER AND THE TIN BOX II The soldier was very sad because he was poor again and couldn’t even afford to buy a candle. He took out the tin box and rubbed it because it was pretty dirty. He rubbed it three times and a dog with a newspaper appeared, he took the newspaper from the dog and found that there was a beautiful princess locked in jail because the king did not like anyone to speak with her. The dog then said something, “Owner, what is that you require. I am happy to do anything you like.” The soldier asked for a million of gold coins, and then the dog immediately went running and came back with some money. The soldier then figured out that this tin box was a treasure; he first had some bread and fresh meals then drank a jar of porridge and began to offer some more, the soldier began to feel quiet happy. Then he offered to see the princess. The dog immediately brought the princess to him; the king found out this thing and wanted to know what had happened. The Queen tied a bag of powder and tied it to the dog’s tail, and then she cut a hole. That way whenever the dog goes somewhere will spread the powder on the floor so that everybody could see what the soldier was doing. The soldier liked the princess so much that the first time he met her; he gently kissed the princess on the cheek and wanted to live with her. One day the king decided to hang the soldier in the square park and burn him, but the soldier decided to smoke one last cigarette, so he took out the tin box and rubbed it nine times and the three dogs all appeared. The three dogs went pounding this way and that way biting all the people and then he became king and married the princess with true love.
