Second hand market (should be "secondhand" or "second-hand" to avoid ambiguity, since "second hand" refers to the fast little hand of a clock or watch)

Two days ago, a friend and I participated on in a second hand market. The event took place in a hidden square from of Raval’s neighborhood, which is located near the city center of Barcelona.

Our main priority wasn’t to obtain an economic profit as make a profit so much as to get rid of old clothes and useless objects. In Between a couple of hats and a pile of books, I put on up for sale one of the board games I use to play with (in English you play a game but play with a toy, ball, etc.) when I was a child. I would spent hours indoors trying to solve out the puzzle. It consisted in guiding a small metal ball through a wooden labyrinth. The difficulty lied on lay in a number of holes distributed all along the path. My mission was to not let the ball fall into these holes. It was a frustrating fight against gravity.

The game got the attention of some of the kids who passed by our parade, but their parents didn’t allow them to buy anything. On the contrary, fashion-seekers had no moral restrictions and ended up becoming our most potential likely customers.

Me and My friend and I ("me and my friend" [as a subject noun] is often said in casual spoken language but is still considered incorrect in writing) are both glad about the whole experience and we are looking forward to repeating it again.
