I have a question! 질문 있어요! Before I posted here. I worked at Japan restaurent that comes a native speaker in English teachers. So today I really confused. I want to say, "Can I melt your cheese that you ordered the food, Will you eat the food right now?" Can you correct that is right? There is a menu including cheese so when custer want to go for that we have to ask "want to eat now or later?" But when foreigners come we couldn't explaing that. So we just tend ask to them like this "cheese melt?"

I have a question! 질문 있어요!

Before I posted here. I was working at Japan restaurent that comes a where many teachers who are native English speakers come in English teachers.

So today I was really confused.

I wanted to say,
"Can I Do you want me to [What Marcel wrote is a more polite way] melt your the cheese on the food that you ordered the food? Will you eat the food right (now/away)?"

Can you correct that so it is right?

There is a menu item including cheese so when customer wants it "to go", for that we have to ask "do you want to eat it now or later?" But when foreigners (have come in, we couldn't haven't been able to explain that / come in, we can't explain that).

So we just tend to ask to them like this "cheese melt?" Lol  [haha. I would appreciate that!]

I have a question! 질문 있어요!

I've posted before <em>(I've already posted)</em> that I worked at a Japanese restaurant, where native English speakers often come to eat<em> (my suggestion)</em>.

So today, I was really confused.

I wanted to say,
"Would you like me to melt the cheese (<em>on top)</em> for you now? Are you going to eat the food right now?"

Can you correct that is right? <em>(Can you check if this is correct?)</em>

There is a menu item that has cheese in it <em>(that includes cheese),</em> so when<em>(ever)</em> our guests want that to go<em> (fixed expression)</em>, we <em>(have to)</em> ask <em>(them):</em> "Would you like to eat that now or later?" But when foreigners <em>(I would recommoned: "people who can't speak Korean :)</em> ) come in,  we don't know how to ask them / how to explain.

So we just tend to ask to them: "Cheese melt?" Lol <em>(So we usually just ask them / So we would usually just ask them)</em>

---

<em>Good job! :) What is the menu item, by the way? It's hard for me to imagine a situation where restaurant staff would ask me whether to melt the cheese now or later.</em>
