Practice Sentences

Some practice sentences I wrote today.

1) かんじのきょうかしょとをおしえます。

2) よるにまどをしめる。さむいだから。

3) でんしゃをつかいます。

4) うちににもつをもちって(い)きました。

5) おこんしゅう(this week?)クラスにきょうかしょをもってきました。

This implies that this conversation is being taken place in the classroom.

And if you want to tell the person the same thing when you're not in the classroom, you could say:

こんしゅうクラスにきょうかしょをもっていきました。

6) 今日は学校にきょうだいをつれてきます。

This also implies that this conversation is being taken place in school.

So again, if you want to tell the person the same thing when you're not in school, you could say:

今日は学校にきょうだいをつれていきます。

7) でんわをかけてもいいですか。

8) バスにをおりて、にもつをもちました。

This means you picked up your luggage after you got off the bus.

If you want to say that you picked it up and got off the bus, you could say:

にもつをもって、バスをおりました。

Practice Sentences

Some practice sentences I wrote today.

1) かんじのきょうかしょとおしえます。

かんじのきょうかしょをおしえます。（　漢字の教科書を教えます　）

2) よるにまどをしめる。さむいだから。

よるにまどをしめる。さむいから。（　夜に窓を閉める。寒いから。　）

3) でんしゃをつかいます。

perfect!

4) うちににもつをもちました。

？　I can't understand the　meaning of this sentence.

5) おんしゅうクラスにきょうかしょをもってきました。

What's おんしゅう?　Perhaps...せんしゅう(last week)??

せんしゅうクラスにきょうかしょをもってゆきました。（or もっていきました）　（　先週クラスに教科書を持って行きました。　）　※１

6) 今日は学校にきょうだいをつれてきます。

今日は学校にきょうだいをつれてゆきます。（or つれていきます）　（　今日は学校に兄弟を連れて行きます。　）　※１

※１　ゆきます/ゆきました　　いきます/いきました　

　It's same meaning.  いきます　is Colloquial, ゆきます　is more　Literary.

7) でんわをかけてもいいですか。
perfect!

8) バスにおりて、にもつをもちました。

バスをおりて、にもつをもちました。　（　バスを降りて、荷物を持ちました。　）
