The experience of cooking a sweet potato I’m extremely fond of cooking. It’s not only necessity to make every meal by myself, but it’s also a hobby. I like experimenting with some new recipes or ingredients. When I come across something interesting in a supermarket I just buy it and only afterwards figuring out what can be cooked out of it. So this way I tried hummus. I’m not still sure how exactly it must taste, because I tried it only cooked by myself by some internet recipe, but I liked it, and this is the main part, in my opinion. Actually I wasn’t going to talk about chick-peas in this piece of writing. And it’s just the time to get to sweet potato at last. I got to know this vegetable in completely different way. At first I came across some recipes in the internet and only afterward I decided to find it and cook. It’s not really popular in my country so it was really difficult to find it even in big supermarkets. But I managed to do it at last a month ago. I decided to make sweet potato soup and it turned out not completely satisfying. I saw not much difference between sweet potato soup and carrot or pumpkin soup, so I didn’t think that it was worthy of searching. I didn’t cook all sweet potatoes I’d bought, and it remained in my fridge for a while. I hate to toss out food so it was time to make something with remained part at last. I decided to bake it in the oven to make something like chips. It was a really simple recipe and I didn’t expect to get anything special, but it turned out great! It’s definitely my favorite now and I’m going to cook it again as soon as possible. The point is, it’s always great to try something new even if it’d turn out not so good as you expected.

The experience of cooking a sweet potato

I’m extremely fond of cooking. It’s not only necessity Not only is it necessary to make every meal by myself <em>(you can also say "for myself")</em>, but it’s also a hobby. I like experimenting with some new recipes or <em>("or" is fine but you can also say "and") </em>ingredients. When I come across something interesting in a supermarket I just buy it, and only afterwards figuring out what can be cooked out of with it. <em>(The only distinction I’m making here is that you can cook something “out of” an ingredient. Like when using wine you can cook the alcohol out of it.)</em> So this way is how I tried hummus. I’m still not still sure how exactly it must it should taste because I only tried it only cooked cooking it by myself by some from an internet recipe. But I liked it and, in my opinion, that's this is the main thing. part, in my opinion. Actually, I wasn’t going to talk about chick-peas in this piece of writing so And it’s just the time to get to the sweet potato at last.

I got to know this vegetable in completely different way. At first I came across some recipes in on the internet and only afterward then I decided to find it and cook sweet potatoes. <em>(Use the noun here or else you might be talking about finding and cooking the printed recipes! :=) </em>It’s They're <em>(we're talking about more than one potato) </em>not really popular in my country so they were it was really difficult to find, it even in the big supermarkets. But a month ago I managed to do find them it at last a month ago. I decided to make sweet potato soup and it turned out not completely less than satisfying. <em>(In the U.S., “less than satisfying” is commonly used when something is not as good as we expected it to be.)</em> I saw not couldn't taste much difference between sweet potato soup or and carrot or pumpkin soup (<em>it's true!) </em>so I didn’t think that it was worthy of searching worth searching for more recipes. I didn’t cook all the sweet potatoes I’d bought so they and it remained in my fridge for a while <em>("stayed" in my fridge is more commonly used here). </em>I hate to toss out food so it was came time <em>(“it came time” is commonly used to express that the moment had arrived)</em> to make something with remained part at last. those potatoes. <em>(This change keeps the tone light-hearted and sounds more typical.)</em> I decided to bake it them <em></em>in the oven to make something like chips. It was a really very <em>(just a different superlative)</em>simple recipe and I didn’t expect to get anything special, but it they turned out great! It’s They're definitely my favorite now and I’m going to cook it them again as soon as possible. So the point is, it’s always great to try something new even if it’d it doesn't turn out not so as good as you expect. ed. <em>(You’re back in the present tense here.)</em>

<em>Sweet potato chips (and fries) are popular but not all that common around Chicago. I like them. We use a lot of sweet potatoes in the autumn around the Thanksgiving holiday. Some people bake them by cutting them in half lengthwise and adding butter and a little maple syrup or brown sugar. That’s sweet!</em>
