My First Entry

我叫黑科林。 我出生在美國加州聖地牙哥出生。現在我(我現在)待住在俄勒岡州波特蘭市。我喜歡波特蘭英偉，因為我有很多朋友在這兒。在波特蘭伙食的食物很好。現在生活很好英偉，因為天氣真很熱，可是雨季未快要來了。我是軟件(軟體)設計公司的老闆。我的公司叫 ”PNDLM“。他它需要一個中文名字。我們做(的是)手機軟件(軟體)。我和我的人幾位好朋友。有時我在中國和或台灣。我的朋友 James 和 Lillian 待住在台灣。我非常想學習中文英偉，因為有一天我想待住在台灣有一天。好，如斯(此)而已, 謝謝。啊！我喜歡好咖啡(我好喜歡咖啡)。

Some notes:

1. 我出生在... is technically not wrong, but we say 我在...出生 more often.

2. Likewise, both 我現在 and 現在我 is correct, but the focus is somewhat different. I'm not sure I can explain it adequately, but basically the former is more of a plain statement, whereas the latter contrasts between "before" and "now'. As you didn't state where you livedd "before" in the paragraph, I feel that 我現在 is what I'd more likely use. But both will be understood fine.

3. 待 implies you're staying at a place temporarily; if you live there, 住 would be more appropriate.

4. Note that unlike in English, we usually put a comma before 因為 (because), and other conjunctions as well; we don't like long sentences in Chinese as a general rule. :p

5. I'm not sure if it's regional difference, but to me 伙食 means the food that's provided to you in an institution you work in (army, company, etc); 食物 is food in general (of a region). 飲食 works fine too.

6. As statement above 真 means "so hot (too hot)"; 很 would be better here. I assume that you mean "rain seasoning is coming", so I put 快要. Other synonyms are 就要, 將要, 即將要.

7. I'm guessing 軟件 is mainland China vocabulary; in Taiwan we say 軟體, so take your pick.

8. 我們做手機軟件 is fine on its own; although, because here you're explaining "what my company makes", I would actually say it in that fashion to emphasize the focus of the sentence: 我們做的是手機軟件 means just "what we do are cell phone softwares".

9. 我和我的幾位好朋友 means "Me and several of my good friends"; it's incomplete, but it's the best guess I can make at the moment...

10. You probably can't be in mainland China and Taiwan at the same time, so 或 (or) instead of 和 (and). ;)

11. About the use of 有一天: you can use it and people will mostly understand you, but it still can potentially be interpreted to mean that you want to stay in Taiwan "just for one day" (especially if you say 我有一天想 or 我想有一天). If you want to avoid the somewhat literary 有朝一日 (one day), you can just use 未來 (in the future).

12. I guess it's probably actually a mistake you made, but 如斯 is a <em>very literary</em> synonym of 如此. To be more colloquial you can use 這樣.

13. 我喜歡好咖啡 means "I like good coffee" (implying you have good taste and are kind of picky about your coffee). If you want to say "I like coffee so much", it's 我好喜歡咖啡 (or......我真喜歡咖啡).

英偉 often used to discribe a man is handsome. 

因為 means because. 

There is a subtle differents in pronunciation between 英 and 因. If you are using Chinese Pinying, the 英 is actually "ying", however 因 is "yin". If you are using Taiwanese Zhuyin, 英 is actually "丨ㄥ",and 因 is "一ㄣ". The difference is very subtle, most of people would not even notice it when you speak.

天氣真熱 always means not so good. if you say 生活好因為天氣真熱 sounds like "life is good because the weather is too hot". 

雨季未來了 are you mean that the raining season is coming/ the raining season will come in the future? or the raining season will not come?

if you mean the raining season is coming, you can say 雨季要來了。

if you mean the raining season will not come, you can say 雨季還沒有來。

“人位好朋友” this sentence does not make sense. if you mean some friends, you can say 幾位好朋友。
