Snažím se číst, správně vyslovovat a chápat význam slov. Dále je napsat slovo od slova, písmeno po písmenu.

Maybe you could say "správně je vyslovit" = pronounce them correctly.

Dekuji moc Petro :) by "words in origin" I meant something like "how they sound in Czech" but I guess it's kind of a double meaning here and that's why the sentence became ambiguous.

I don't know what you mean by "words in origin" but apart from that, it would be: "Snažím se číst a vyslovovat slova a pochopit jejich význam, stejně jako napsat každé písmeno po písmenu." (letter by letter). Letter - dopis (correspondence), letter - písmeno (alphabet)
