The first Step

This weekend is the end of my holidays. From next Monday, I will try to study english a lot of, because in October I have to pass my english level test. Now, I watch or have watched a lot of videos in youtube with subtitles, but I dont know any other way  to improve my listening. I think that It is important to improve all areas, listening, speaking, grammar and composition, but I dont know how to start. I know that the best way is to live in England or the United States, but I don't have (negative form do not + infinitive) time neither money. Regards my italki friends!!!

Hello Mariano

Keep in mind these:

I will + infinitive refers to future

I watch refers to an action that happens often

I have watched refers to an action that started and keeps going on until now

It is very important that you hear english..it's a good way to learn! Maybe at first you could check out the basic tenses with simple verbs and you can continue with more difficult..Try to creat simple phrases! Also, it is easier to learn a language if its context has a meaning for us. Try to read articles that are interesting to you ( hobbies, articles , news) and you will see that you will try harder to understand because it's useful for you. Generally you are doing a great job!
