My Confusion

My confusion
As a gentleman of twenty-eight years old,I'm interested in history and movies, and I prefer to spend most of my time learning about them than doing my job.
that perefer to cost most of my time to acquaint the knowledge on them
rather than to do my job.
So,it brings confusions to me, So, I am confused, should I abandon my job to become a postgraduate student?
if would I abandon my job to take part in the exams for postgraduate schools until become a scholar?
