Semi-formal letter (FCE practise) Dear Ms Thomson, Thank you very much for your letter. I am very pleased to have won this prize. I stayed on San Francisco a few years ago so I would prefer visiting Vancouver this time. Could it be possible to make the trip the two first weeks of July before I start my summer job? in spite of the vast information on your letter, there are some questions I need to be resolved, though. First of all, is the return flight a direct flight or there is any layover between the cities? I prefer a direct flight so it's most confortable. Secondly, in your letter is named a course in a English school but the information about the schedule is missing. Could you send me the duration of the classes and if they are on the morning or during the afternoon? At the last part of the prize it is said that an accommodation is included along these two weeks. I am interested on knowing the distance between the residence and the school as well as whether the meals are included or I will have to cook by myself. Finally, I would like to know if I can prolong my stay at the school for an extra week and if so, could you send me the price to pay for it? I am very grateful for all your helpful assistance.
